Shopping mall maintenance in Singapore

Mall wear is relentless and public. Every fault in a common area is seen by thousands of people a day, and anything left in a walkway becomes a safety issue rather than an inconvenience.

Maoya takes on the repair list across common areas, washrooms, and tenant units, working in the hours that keep walkways clear while the mall is trading.

What we get called for

Common area lighting

Failed tubes and downlights across walkways, lift lobbies, and car park links. Bulk replacement in one visit costs less than calling someone out each time one goes.

Public washrooms

Taps, mixers, cisterns, and sanitary fittings under constant use. These are the fittings that generate the most complaints when they are left.

Floor tiles in walkways

Cracked and hollow tiles in high-traffic routes. A trip hazard in a public area is a liability question, not a cosmetic one.

Tenant unit make-good

Turning a unit around between tenancies: patching, repainting, replacing damaged ceiling boards, and making good after the previous fit-out.

Ceilings and access panels

Panels disturbed by other trades working above, and boards marked by leaks from services in the ceiling void.

Common questions

Do you work overnight?
Yes. For common areas that is usually the only workable window, and we plan the job around the mall's access and security procedures.
Can you work on tenant units as well as common areas?
Yes, either through building management or directly with the tenant. Reinstatement and make-good between tenancies is regular work for us.
How do you handle safety in public areas?
Anything the public can reach gets barriered or hoarded before work starts, and the area is cleared and cleaned before it reopens.
