Hotel maintenance in Singapore

In a hotel, a room out of service is lost revenue for every night it stays that way. The pressure is not just to fix the fault but to get the room back into sellable condition quickly and to a standard a paying guest will accept.

Maoya handles the repair and make-good works across guest rooms, corridors, and back of house, working room by room so the rest of the floor keeps operating.

What we get called for

Guest room make-good

Wall marks, chipped paint, damaged skirting, and the accumulated knocks of continuous occupancy. Touch-ups that hold up to a guest looking closely.

Bathroom fittings

Mixers, taps, and sanitary fittings that have loosened or worn. Guest bathrooms are judged harder than any other part of a room.

Lighting in rooms and corridors

Failed lamps and fixtures in rooms, corridors, and lift lobbies, replaced consistently so a corridor does not end up with three different colour temperatures.

Ceilings after leaks

Water-marked boards in rooms and corridors, usually traced to services above. We deal with the source and then make the ceiling good.

Back of house

The areas guests never see but staff use constantly: service corridors, stores, and staff washrooms.

Common questions

How quickly can a room be back in service?
It depends entirely on the work. Touch-ups and fittings are usually same-day. Anything involving ceiling boards or paint needs drying and curing time, and we will tell you that up front rather than after you have blocked the room.
Can you work on occupied floors?
Yes, with the noisy elements planned into agreed windows. We work room by room so the rest of the floor keeps selling.
Do you cover back of house as well?
Yes. Service corridors, stores, and staff areas are usually where the maintenance backlog is largest, because guest-facing work gets prioritised.
